A Sacred Collection, Book 2: 8 Intermediate to Late Intermediate Arrangements of Favorite Hymns for Solo Piano Details
These uplifting collections contains some of the best-known hymns as well as those which are not so familiar. These arrangements maintain the original melodies while adding altered harmonies and will serve well as supplemental materials for the piano lesson and especially well for preludes and offertories in the church.

Reviews
This is a book 2 intermediate to late intermediate hymns for piano. I really think the book is more for the Late Intermediate student. I am an intermediate piano student and they are a bit challenging. I have not attempted the other 7 arrangements but The Old Rugged Cross is easily played by an intermediate, but it is quite challenging for an early intermediate student. I would say that it is not an easy book for a 3rd year student but the selections are arranged very nicely. The notes are large and the key signature is for the most part F# and C#. There is one song with a key change of 4 flats but it is written in C Major but very simple in arrangement. I liked the book's style of no more than 3 page songs. I also liked the fact that only 8 songs were in the book. The book sets thinly on the piano for ease of page turning and is clearly arranged for ease of playing especially for students of no more than 3.5 years.
